There are neighbouring country houses dotted around, all with their own large plots. The area is far from the mass tourism of the coast, and wonderfully unexplored with many beautiful treasures to be found in the area just waiting to be discovered, such as Resinera Natural Park, Cascada de los Arboles waterfall, Rio Verde water route, and the Ruta de los Callejones as well as many beautiful walks.
Domestic water in this area is brought in by tank, a service used by all the local inhabitants. The house can be connected to electricity or it would be possible to be completely off-grid, with new, powerful solar domestic electricity generating technology. There is mains drainage in the area, although the local council will require the installation of a private septic tank too.
