A superb detached country house in perfect condition in an ideal location, with plenty of space, a huge pool, outbuildings and impressive all-round views over the mountains and countryside.

Los Navas has excellent access, with just a short country track to access it.  Situated in the countryside between Canillas de Aceituno and Velez-Malaga, the property is with 25 minutes of the coast, 20 minutes from the historic town of Velez-Malaga, and 15 minutes to Viñuela village (with 24 hour medical service)

The plot
The plot of 8611m2 is in two parts: firstly the area around the house, which is around 2000m2 and totally flat, with no other houses to block the all-round mountain views; the rest of the plot slopes down the hill and has terraced levels for planting, currently planted with olives and almonds.

The house and gardens
The property is fully fenced with an impressive, gated entrance with access straight to the garage and plenty of parking for other vehicles, (both inside and outside the gates), on completely flat ground.  The gardens to the front are open, spacious, well maintained, and indeed, easy to maintain, with a large petanque court, pergola dining/barbecue area with large dining table and chairs, and an outside WC.  There are also pretty flower beds and a few fruit trees planted in this area.  One is immediately impressed with this wonderful space and its spectacular views.

The house sits in the middle of the garden area facing the entrance, and to the rigth of it is a series of outbuildings consisting of one large store room (2 x 4m), with two smaller store rooms attached to one side (around 12m2), one of which is a utility room and houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Attached to the right of the house is the garage/workshop (5 x 5m) plus extra store shed, and an additional store room built onto the house to one side of the property.

To the front of the house is a large covered terrace (3 x 10m), ideal for outdoor living.  The front door, from the covered terrace, leads into the hallway, (5 x 2m) with doors immediately to left and right.  To the left is the fully fitted, modern kitchen with integrated dining area and windows to the front (East) and South side.  To the right is the living room (5 x 4m) with windows to the front and North side and a fireplace.

All the windows are double-glazed and have mosquito nets.  Most of the windows are also lockable. There are air conditioning units in all the bedrooms, the living room and the en-suite bathroom.

To the rear of the house is the magnificent pool garden.  A high terrace area level with the house is ideal for admiring the magnificent views to the West, and for relaxing in the swing chair, watching the spectacular sunsets. The table here provides a pleasant sheltered area throughout the morning.

A few steps lead down to the pool terrace.  To the left of the pool is a pergola terrace with a pull-across awning, ideal for relaxing in the shade.  The pool, 10 x 4.5m is well kept, with a pool cover for the winter months and a thermal cover for the Summer months.

Beyond the pool terrace is a garden area with citrus and palm trees and raised beds for either flowering plants or for growing a few vegetables.  To one side is a gravel area with an orange tree and a fig trees, along with flowering borders, and from here one can access the land via a lockable gate in the fencing.

This is a perfect house for permanent living but it would also work very well as a holiday rental villa.
