A very lovely country house, just a few minutes’ drive from the picturesque village of Almachar, 15 minutes from Velez-Malaga and 20 minutes from the coast.  In need of a little updating but fully habitable.

Situated just a few minutes’ drive from the village, Casa Rodin is a fully habitable country house on one level, on its own (2 neighbouring houses but not too near), and with very easy access from the road.

Electric gates open onto the land and a concrete drive which leads uphill, firstly to the covered garage (open to the front), and then up to a car park for 2 cars next to the house.

There is land to the front and sides, all sloping but much of it useable, with fruit trees such as oranges, lemons, avocados and almond trees.  There is plenty of space to plant more trees, and vegetables.

There is some work to be done in the gardens in general, such as improving fencing, steps etc.  To the top of the land, there are two large water deposits, (approximately totalling 15,000L), one used for irrigation and one for the house.  The water comes from a fresh water well on the land which has never run out.  However, if anyone wished to, mains water is being installed along the road, so it may be possible to request a connection.

The house has a partially open porch area (3.5 x 2m), plus a large completely enclosed conservatory area (5 x 3m), the perfect place to enjoy all year round.  From here a door leads into the living room (5 x 5.5m) with a woodburner, and an opening beyond leads to the kitchen (3 x 3m approximately).  The partition wall between the kitchen and the living room could easily be removed to open the area up.

To the rear of the living room area is access to the bathroom (around 2 x 2m) and two double bedrooms (4 x 3.5m and 4 x 4m).

This lovely house offers easy access, close to the village and at the same time beautiful views and a peaceful location.  It is ideal for anyone looking for a simple country house where they can make some basic renovations to their own style and taste, without any structural work.
