It is an absolute pleasure to be offering this unique, stunning, original mansion in the centre of the historic and fascinating town of Velez-Malaga.  Located only 5 minutes’ drive from the coast and the increasingly popular seaside town of Torre del Mar, and just 30 minutes from Malaga city, Casa Antonio Bueno is perfect for anyone looking to set up a fabulous hotel full of the charms of a bygone age.

The property consists of three floors plus a look-out tower, as follows:

GROUND FLOOR
The tall entrance doors lead into a hallway, which leads into the central inner courtyard, with a high lightwell reaching up to the roof.  Here elegant plants make this an exotic, sumptuous space, where the addition of a fountain would make it even more special.  To either side are two huge rooms.  The left, an L-shaped room that could be converted into anything from a dining room, caf´é or restaurant to a worshop, shop, or even offices to let.  The right, an equally large L shaped room, with a huge door to the street (could be partly a private garage).  And there are also tall wooden doors to a large store room.

Sweeping stairs lead to the ..

FIRST FLOOR
Here, a landing and a beautifully tiled, wide walkway surrounds the beautifully glassed central lightwell, with rooms off the walkway.  This includes an elegant, sumptuous living room with enclosed balcony, four huge bedrooms and a very large bathroom, some of which are exquisitely tiled with elegant, original ceramic tiling.  A second wing includes a more ‘intimate’ area consisting of a winter living room with a cosy fireplace, a long dining room with double patio doors to the garden, a fully fitted kitchen, a utlity room also with a door to the garden, and a bathroom.

The garden is a tranquil oasis of calm, with a swimming pool for cooling off in the summer, and fruit trees and other plants filling this delightful space with green foliage and bright fruits.  There is also an entrance to this area from the street, through a covered entrance with a large store room to one side and a further store room above, accessed via steps.  Above the upper store room, up further steps is a large roof terrace with 360º views over the town, and from the garden there are steps to a second terrace overlooking the gardens and the views beyond.

From inside the sweeping staircase continues, this time with exquisite, hand painted floor tiles, to the ..

SECOND FLOOR
This level also has a wide walkway around the central lightwell, this time with 8 huge bedrooms, one or which has stairs to a lookout room with a beamed sloping ceiling and views from its windows of four sides.
