<p>Below the house, on a slightly lower level is an empty reservoir area, which could easily be made into a small lake and another beautiful feature, with water being supplied by the well.</p>
<p>The large goat shed/barn/garage is 11 x 5.7m and would make excellent stables for horses.  There are also various smaller outbuidings and a dog kennel.</p>
<p>The rental cottage is equally beautiful, and consists of a private drive, parking area and gardens, covered terrace area, a large living room, fully fitted kitchen, two spacious bedrooms and one bathroom.  It provides the owners with a regular income from holiday makers seeking accommodation in this popular area.</p>

<p>This is what I can only describe as a thoroughbred of cortijos, the real thing, a jewel of a place set in a simply perfect location &#8211; lucky the person who manages to acquire this wonderful piece of pure Andalusian culture and history!!<span id="more-8267"></span></p>
<p>When I saw this place I was awe-struck!  This is it!  The classic country cortijo, surrounded on all sides by fields and hill, with distant mountains and total, magical, Southern charm!!!  For anyone who wants the real thing, and a chance to carefully and lovingly restore a true piece of history, and have lots of land into the bargin, this is your property!</p>
<p>Set on 140,000m2 (approx.) of land, consisting of cereal and vegetable crop fields and scrub, undulating hills, with wonderful views all around, this old farmhouse has a walled patio courtyard with original flagstone floors, which is surrounded on one side by the outer wall to the car parking area, on two further sides by huge barns, and on the remaining side by the two storey house itself.  The house is divided into two halves but they could easily become one house.</p>
<p>The structure is on the whole sound, the rooms small with small windows, which is typical, but the whole thing could be opened out and redesigned as required, with patio doors from the house, and the two barns (which could be guest accommodation) giving both onto the central courtyard,and, from the other sides, onto the land.</p>

<p>This is a stylishly renovated, bright and spacious townhouse in the pretty white village of Canillas de Albaida.<br />

This house is located in the older part of the village, but conveniently on a quiet road where stopping outside to unload shopping etc is possible. On-street parking is available nearby.  It is only a couple of minutes’ walk to the picturesque village square, local shops, playground, swimming pool, bars, bank, school, pharmacy, surgery, post office etc. and a short drive to the larger and busier village of Cómpeta, or to the lovely Sierra de Almijara Natural Park.</p>
<p>The front door opens into an entrance hall/lobby, (3m x 3m).  It is currently being used as an office space, but if this is not required, it would simply make a lovely reception area.  There is an under-stairs cupboard and stairs up to the first floor.</p>
<p>The sitting/dining room (6m x 3.2m) is located on the first floor, with a lovely &#8216;juliette&#8217; balcony overlooking the street.  The room has a built-in TV stand and shelves, and an alcove with fittings for the log burner.  A door leads  through to bedroom 1, with an archway to a wardrobe/storage area and bathroom 1.  Bedroom 1 (3.2m x 3.3m) is currently used as the master bedroom.  Bathroom 1  is tastefully decorated and equipped, and is fully tiled with large walk in shower, close coupled WC and pedestal washbasin.</p>

<p>The house is located on the outskirts of La Viñuela village and is just a short walk to the centre.  There is easy parking here and it has the advantage of a bus stop just across the road.  The house has been completely rebuilt to modern standards.</p>
<p>The front door leads into an open plan hall and living area, with a living room to the right (4.5 x 3m), and a spacious kitchen to the left (4.5 x  4m), separated by the hallway area in the centre (4.5 x 2m) with downstairs WC beyond (2 x 1.5m).</p>
<p>The kitchen  is fully tiled with all electrics and plumbing in place ready to add the kitchen units and whitegoods to the taste of the owners.  There is plenty of light in this lovely open plan living area, and excellent quality floor and wall tiling throughout the house.  the windows are white aluminium with security blinds.</p>

<p>The village of Rio Bermuza is spread around a sun-drenched hillside just North of the town of Velez-Malaga.  This cottage is located at the end of a little street of country cottages, (end of terrace) and there are no dirt tracks to reach it.</p>
<p>Located at the end of a short driveway, the house faces onto its own private plot of land (approx. 150m2) which consists of a flat grassy area which would make a lovely garden and it would not be difficult to  incorporate a splash pool here.  There are some lovely views of the hills and valley and below, for most of the year the sound of the bubbling river Bermuza is an added delight!  The water and the many trees attract a large variety of birds, so the sound of cheaping and birdsong, intermingled with the sound of water,  is ever present!</p>
<p>The house has double doors into the newly restored interior, entering first into a living room area (7 x 3m), with fully tiled, wired and plumbed kitchen area beyond (3 x 2.5m).  The kitchen units are not fitted, allowing the future owners to choose a kitchen to their own taste and style.  There is a downstairs bathroom with bath (2.5 x 2m).</p>
<p>Steps lead up to the first floor, where there are three bedrooms (all around 3 x 2.5m) with built-in wardrobes,  and a shower room.</p>
<p>Steps lead up again to a very generous roof terrace of around 33m2 with a sink and electricity, to allow for rooftop barbeques and cooking!</p>
<p>Opposite the house, along the little street, is a small ruined house which can be fully restored into a 2 bedroom house on two floors with roof terrace.  The current owner has a quote for the work which comes to around 45,000 Euros, allowing the possibility of creating a second living space, perhaps to let out to holiday makers, or for guests coming to stay.  (In the photos, look for the red steps, which is the entrance to the ruined cottage).  Alternatively, the second house could be renovated and then sold separately, fetching up to 80,000 Euros.</p>
<p>If your aim is to secure a simple, economic property in Spain, perhaps something you can quickly move into but offering a project such as the ruin, and the potential to make some income perhaps on holiday lets, then this property is one to consider.</p>

<p>All  the paperwork for this ideal country house is in order, and the house is  currently bringing in a very reasonable rental income as a holiday  home, being let out for an average of 16 to 20 weeks per annum. <p>A simply breathtaking rustic farmhouse beautifully renovated, part of which is a holiday let, perfect horse country, set in stunning unspoilt countryside, with Kms of wonderful riding tracks, and 850 productive olive trees for extra income.</p>
<p><span id="more-7641"></span>Located some 25 minutes South of the beautiful city of Antequera, just 15 minutes from the village of Valle de Abdalajis and 15 minutes from the well known Guadalorce lakes (including famous El Chorro), this wonderful 200 year old farmhouse is ideal if you are looking for space, land, open countryside and total peace and privacy!</p>
<p>A very good all-year-round dirt track of 2Kms leads to the entrance to the estate, with a 400m private driveway bringing you through the pretty olive groves to the house.  There is a large gravel parking area, from where it is easy to access the house, hay barn, horse stables (room for two horses at present but could be extended), horse enclosures and menage area.</p>
<p>A beautiful central courtyard with a lovely pool and sunbathing terraces all around, has a shady pergola and a stone built barbeque which can be used all year round.   The pool is 9.5 x 4.5m with a 2.5m depth at one end, making it suitable for diving.</p>

<p>The second house,  joined by one wall and which COULD be incorporated to make one single house, currently has its own garden, with garden gate making it very private and separate from the first house, and includes a very pretty little tiled, round splash pool, such that should the new owner wish to continue to offer the first house as a holiday let, the main pool can continue to be for the exclusive use of the Summer guests.  There is also a wonderful tiled dog kennel in its own enclosed area, lovingly referred to as &#8220;Barkingham Palace&#8221; by the current owners &#8211; it even has its own little terrace!  The second house consists of:</p>

<p>Both houses are fully centrally heated with hot water radiators using solar panels to heat the water for both the domestic hot water and the central heating radiators, backed up by gas for when the sun goes down or for less sunny days.  There is large hot water tank to ensure a constant and plentiful supply of hot water.</p>
<p>Both houses are bursting with character, with beams, thick, stone walls, little wall alcoves, rustic finished plastering, rustic floor tiling, fireplaces, pretty blue-painted &#8216;rejas&#8217; (traditional Andalusian window bars) and wonderful views from every window!  It is a light, sunny, happy place, one to be loved and treasured!</p>
<p><strong>The land</strong> : for anyone seeking a large plot with productive and totally useable farmland, this is perfect!  All 70,000m2 of it stretches out around the farmhouse, with some 850 productive olive trees and plenty of space for further planting.  The countryside around the house is very varied, with a mixture of wild  evergreens, mostly Holme Oaks from which the neighbour makes a wonderful honey, pines and many more varieties of trees, all of which attracts a vast array of wildlife.</p>
<p>This is the ideal property if you wish to work or live with horses.  La Grajala has two horses, Blue and Sienna, available for purchase at the time of publication.  Their paddock consists of a very large, flat area under the shade of around 10,000m2 of almond trees, with flexible electric fencing (easily moved from one place to another). <p>Located in a small cluster of old houses known as a &#8216;cortijada&#8217;, this house is detached and on its own plot, with private concrete drive, and being sold at an excellent price to allow money for full renovation.<span id="more-7605"></span></p>
<p>The cottage stands on a plot os 5,500m2 of land, much of it sloping, but ideal for planting fruit trees on all its little terraces, down to the bubbling river in the valley below.  It is a lovely, peaceful and very natural valley, reached via a 3.5Km dirt track that meanders along the river on a good all-year-round track surface.</p>
<p>The private concrete drive leads down to one side of the cottage, with enough flat space around to make a lovely garden and front terrace.  The house consists of around 7 or 8 large rooms, and could be renovated to suit individual requirements.  As long as it is renovated (as opposed to knocking it down) there would be no problem obtaining planning permission.</p>
<p>It has its own well for water, a large water deposit and electricity.  For sale for a good price, to allow most people enough in the budget to renovate and convert this lovely house into a home!</p>

<p>A very well presented village house in perfect condition with gardens and splash/jacussi pool in the little village of Triana, just a short drive from Vélez-Málaga and the coast.</p>
<p><span id="more-7543"></span>This very nicely presented town house is located in the little village of Triana in the heart of the sub-tropical valley of Velez, amongst avocado, lemon and mango groves.</p>
<p>The house, located in a very quiet street set back from the centre, has a front terrace, setting the house away from the street.  The front door leads into a spacious living room with woodburner fireplace and air conditioning.  The separate kitchen (4 x 3m) is fully fitted and modern, with a dining room of 3 x 3.5m.  This dining room could easily be converted into a fourth bedroom if required, but as it is, with a sofa bed it could easily be used as extra sleeping accommodation.  There are three double bedrooms all around 3 x 4.5m, and a family bathroom with bath and shower.  There are slimline electric panel heaters in all rooms.</p>
<p>The rear garden consists of a very large patio area (around 10 x 6m) with lemon tree and a lovely corner jacussi splash pool.  Here, there are also two outbuildings, one being an outdoor-accessed bathroom, the other a store room.  Steps to one side lead up to a roof terrace (ideal for sunbathing and hanging out the washing!) of around 10.5 x 5.5m with a large roof store room accessed from this terrace.</p>
<p>This is an ideal family house, or for a couple who don&#8217;t wish to be hemmed in by the standard, very compact Spanish village houses, with the additional advantage of a private and spacious outdoor space.</p>

<p>A wonderful old cortijo with stunning sea, mountain and lake views, exquisitely converted into two beautiful homes<span id="more-7406"></span></p>
<p>A unique country estate with 3 plot numbers (separately registered at the Land Register) on a total of 41,309 m2.  The cortijo can be bought with either 5300m2, (option A), or with the whole plot (option B).  Within the 5300m2 is the whole complex, some good, flat land and several terraces of land ready for planting, plus stables and a well.<br />
The entire estate is terraced and with simply breathtaking sea views.  The finca is partially ecologically cultivated with more than 4000 Aloe Vera plants and there is plenty of land to further increase the crop, or to cultivate many types of fruit trees or for vineyards.</p>
