A simply charming village house with plenty of original rustic features, in the heart of one of the most intriguing mountain villages in Malaga.

Located in the heart of Comares, Casita de la Amistad is in a pretty street, close to all amenities, and not too high up in the village!  This traditional house is on two floors, with plenty of excellent space for permanent living p or for use as a holiday or rental home.

The front door leads immediately into a beautiful living room, around 4 x 3m, with a charming, traditional fireplace fitted with a woodburner, at the far end keeping the downstairs warm and cosy in the winter.  All the rooms, with one or two small exceptions, have ceilings with traditional beams, giving the whole house a rustic, wholesome feel.  To the left, is the dining room, a spacious addition to the open plan, rustic style kitchen (dining room around 3 x 3m, with wide step up to kitchen of around 3 x 3.5m).

Beyond the living room is the bathroom, complete with walk-in shower and washing machine (3.5 x 1.7m), and behind, the stairs leading up to the first floor.

The stairs lead up to a landing or upstairs living/reading room, with a second cosy fireplace with a woodburner, ensuring the upstairs can also be kept cosy and warm in the colder winter months.  An archway leads to two double bedrooms, both with sloping ceilings and beams, each of around 3.5 x 3m, and a WC between the two (1.7 x 1.2m).  It would not be difficult to add a small shower area by taking a small square from one of the bedrooms to create a complete shower room.

Stairs lead up to bedroom 3 (3.5 x 3m approx), and then on up to a lovely roof terrace (around 3.5 x 4m) with views over the village and distant mountain ranges, a perfect place for outside living.

This  beautiful house needs a little bit of improvement in places, mainly just painting and updating furniture and curtains, etc, to make it into a spectacular, comfortable and inviting home.
