This delightful village house is located in the charming mountain village of Canillas de Aceituno.  The street is lined with potted flowers and almost a jungle of pot plants belonging to neighbours, with a view down the hill towards the open countryside below.

Casa del Artista, formerly owner by an artist who was inspired by this magical village to paint it from every angle, has a pretty facade with balconies on two levels.

Ground Floor:
The front door leads into a large hallway with a bathroom immediately to the right and a staircase to the rear right.  Double doors lead from the far end of the hallway into a large kitchen/dining room (8 x 3m) with a fully fitted kitchen to the right and a dining room with woodburner fireplace with alcoves and shelving to the left.  To the far left is a door into the second bathroom with a window over the patio garden.  And to the centre rear wall of the kitchen/dining room are double wooden doors leading out to the patio garden.

The patio garden consists of two outdoor areas, the nearest including an outside sink and barbecue area and lovely views to the South East overlooking the coast in the distance and the sweep of the valley below the village.  This area is covered in the Summer with the shady leaves of a grapevine. This area leads to a second open area, ideal for outdoor relaxing and entertaining.  This entire area is around 45m2.  It might be possible to add a small splash pool within this area.

To one side of the patio garden is a workshop (2.5 x 4m) with huge pieces of natural rock in the wall demonstrating how the entire village was built on pure mountain rock.  It could be possible to open up one side of this workshop to create a covered, but open area, increasing the patio area by 10 to 15m2.

First Floor:
The stairs from the hallway lead to bedroom 1 at the top of the stairs (4.5 x 3m) with double doors out to a corridor balcony overlooking the street.  To the right, at the top of the stairs, a door leads into the main living room area, one two levels with a step between the two. Each area is around 5 x 3m and the lower area has a fireplace, and double doors out to the middle terrace (5 x 4m) with stairs leading up to the top terrace, an under-stairs store area, and railings overlooking the patio garden below, and across the village rooftops.

From the living area, a staircase leads up to the top floor.

Top Floor:
At the top of the stairs are a WC with basin, and a window over the street (2 x 1.2m), bedroom 2 (3 x 3.3m) with double doors out to a corridor balcony overlooking the street, and bedroom 3 (4.5 x 3.2m) with an alcove, and double doors out to the top terrace (5.5 x 3.2m) with stairs down to the middle terrace.
