The moment one walks inside this cortijo, one is overwhelmed by the fascinating ancient character of this well-preserved piece of Andalusian history!  High sloping ceilings with original thick wooden beams with cane detail between them, ancient floors and wooden windows all work together to ooze rustic style and charm.  The terrace door leads into the kitchen, which is just such a room!  Everywhere there is character and charm!  The kitchen (3.25 x 3m) leads to a short corridor, plus a door to a shower room (2.5 x 1m), as well as double doors leading into the beautiful living room.  This lovely room (4 x 4m) again has sloping ceilings with beams, a wood burner for the Winter.  The living room leads into the dining room (3 x 3m), which has a flat ceiling with thick, rounded original beams and original floors.

Along the corridor, we find our way to the entrance hall, and front door leading to the side of the house, (5.5 x 1.75m).  Here also is access to bedroom 1 (3 x 2.5m) and bedroom 2 (3 x 2.5m).  This room also has a door to an inner hallway that used to be the old kitchen, with double doors out to the covered side terrace.

Bedroom 3 has a wood burner set into an original fireplace and is 4 x 2m.  This leads to another room which could be used as a dressing area (3 x 3.5m).  Behind a cupboard in this room is an old door leading to the unrenovated section of the cortijo.  This room also has access to the second bathroom (2.25 x 2m).

The unrenovated section is accessed from an exterior door and a door from the dressing room.  This area consists of a downstairs room of 3.5 x 3m and stairs up to a room above and store room adjoining.

Outside, steps from the side covered terrace lead to a roof terrace with lovely open views.

The land around the house is flat, dedicated to gardens, terraces, barbecue area, the pool terrace and the parking area.  Beyond, is the rest of the plot, which slopes down the hill, and could be useable.  The views are beautiful, of the mountains hills and valleys of this very picturesque mountain area.

Comares and Riogordo are both around 15 minutes drive and the coast is reachable within around 45 minutes.
