Torre del Mar is an ‘up and coming’ seaside town just half an hour East of Malaga city.  Recently its streets and facilities have been greatly improved and the town, which is busy all year round and not just a Summer ‘resort’, has now become one of the most sought-after seaside towns in the area.  It has one of the longest promenades, and a beach path along its 7Kms of beach, making it ideal for long beach walks, and the A356 main road, leading out of the town due North, gives easy access to the stunning countryside of the Axarquia area, Lake Viñuela and the mountains, along with the many picturesque whitewashed villages in the hills around.

Parque del Mar is located just to the East of the town centre, away from the bustle and noise of the town, but within 400m of the beach and a 10 minute walk tothe town centre.  There are shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk from the development and the hospital is also just a short walk away.

The development

Phase 1 and Phase 2 make up a U-shaped complex on five floors, with a beautiful communal garden and a beach-style pool, the only one of its kind at the moment in town.  There is also ample free parking around the building and on the nearby streets, and it is also possible to buy a garage and storeroom with each apartment (optional).

With Phase 1 well underway, and ready in March/April 2021, there are still several 2 and 3 bedroom apartments available for sale and the odd penthouse.  All have beautiful terraces and large patio doors and windows.  Phase 2 will begin in the Spring of 2021 and will be ready in 2023.
