Location

The little cluster of houses within which Casa Amarilla is located is only a few minutes in the car from the village (15 minutes’ walk). Viñuela has plenty of local shops, bars and facilities including banks, sports facilities and a 24 hour emergency medical centre.  It is also a very picturesque village and is only 5 minutes from magnificent Lake Viñuela.  Casa Amarilla is 15 minutes from the historic town of Velez-Malaga, 20 minutes from the coast at Torre del Mar, and within one hour of Malaga airport.

There are buses that pass by the nearby bus stop to Granada, Malaga, Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar, making it possible to have an alternative form of transport when needed, other than a car.  Fresh bread can be delivered to the door on a daily basis from the local bakery and vans regularly sell their produce too at this location.  The local community of neighbours are mainly Spanish, all very friendly and generous (often a bag of fresh vegetables or fruit can be found outside one’s front door) and supportive, whilst not too intrusive.

The Property

The gates lead into a private parking area and from here is access via a gate to the garden and pool.  The garden is well established and easy to maintain, with the 8 x 4m salt water pool as a central feature, plus outside kitchen and covered barbecue area. The covered terrace is the perfect place to relax, eat and enjoy the lovely views over the countryside and the garden is very private.

At the end of the hall, to the right is another inner hall area with door to the right leading into the kitchen/dining room (5 x 4m) with fully fitted units and equipment and a door out to the side of the house.  Also off the rear hallway is the family bathroom (2.5 x 2m) and to the left, bedroom 1 (4.2 x 3m).  Next door is bedroom 2 (also 4.2 x 3m), both good size double rooms.

To the far left of the main hallway is bedroom 3, a generous 5 x 4m, with hot and cold air conditioning, double sliding doors out to the terrace, and a very large ensuite bathroom (5 x 2.5m) with luxury bath and separate walk-in shower.

The house is decorated in modern colours and beautifully tiled in the bathrooms and kitchen, to offer comfortable living with a touch of luxury.
