An unusual country house (around 230m2) with plenty of unique character, with a charming central patio, set on the low hills above Velez-Malaga and with lovely views out to the sea, with irrigated land with potential for an excellent income in tropical fruit tree growing.

Location:

Cortijo Diego García is located along a dirt track, deep into the countryside, and is about 15 minutes in the car to Velez-Malaga, and 20 minutes from the coast.  Its location on the sunny hills above the town means that the property enjoys the sunshine all day, with beautiful views over the sea.  There are other houses around, but not within at least 100m of the property.

The local Velez-Malaga micro climate has made this area one of the largest mango and avocado producers in Europe, with high income potential in the fertile, irrigated land in and around the valley.  This property would be ideal to develop within this growing agricultural field.

The House:
The house is mainly on one single, level, with two entrances, one from the large car park, and the other from the South wing of the house, on the pool side.  This door leads into a very large dining and living room (8.85 x 3.5m) with door to an inner living room of 4 x 3.5m.

To the right of this room is a door to a bathroom (2.2 x 4m) and next to it the kitchen (3.6 x 4m) with a kitchen store area (2.35 x 4m) off the kitchen, and from here a door to the inner courtyard patio.

There is abundant natural water, from both the local irrigation community and from a private borehole.  There is an automatic irrigation  system in place and it would be ideal for anyone wishing to try their hand at the lucrative local business of tropical fruit production (mango and avocado plantations).
