This old style Andalusian farmhouse is separated into two houses and out outhouse, currently housing farm animals. It has a very serene view of the mountains and is in a very peaceful area. The plot behind the house is gently sloping and all useable land.

Location

Situated in a rural area known as Los Dioses (The gods), the property is close to the hamlet of Los Ventorros, which as an excellent bar/restaurant and a friendly community. It is 10 minutes from Comares village, that has shops, a medical center, restaurants, banks, etc and is home to one of the most spectacular lookout points in the whole of the Axarquía region.

The property is about 30 mins from the coast and just over an hour away from the airport.

The house

The farmhouse is currently divided into two sections, both with Andalusian rustic charm such as thick walls and roof beams. The first house, on the left side, leads into a living room with an open stairway up to the first floor. Next to the stairway, opposite the entrance is a doorway leading into the kitchen and from there into a bathroom. The kitchen also has a door leading out to the rear side of the house.

At the top of the first floor, there is a large room used as a bedroom and another door leading into a second bedroom that looks out over the land belonging to the property.

The second house, on the right-hand side, is larger than the first one, leading into a living room with an adjoining kitchen, both with a door to the outside. From the living room, there is access a bathroom and a large bedroom.

From the living room there is also access into what could be another bedroom but is currently used as a hall/storage area, with stairs leading up to the second floor through a very old and typical door. This door leads into a bedroom, that leads into a hallway with the master bedroom on one side with door out to the balcony.  There is also a bathroom and a set of stairs up to a small landing, leading out to a large terrace that overlooks the whole house, current animal building and land beyond.

The thidd, smaller building, currently being used as an animal coop, has several rooms and a small courtyard area. With some easy renovation, this could become an extra living unit.

The property has a large plot of land behind it and is off the side from the main track leading down into the countryside.

The land

The land around the immediate area of the house consists of a large front terrace, currently with a metal structure with grape vines shading the area. Towards the entrance to the property, there is a very large parking area with space for several cars.

From the back of the house, there is a large area of land planted with olive threes and several fruit trees. It is on a slight hill and has very lovely mountains views. At the bottom of the land, there is a working well with a pump that extracts fresh water.
