Located mid way between Canillas de Aceituno and the Velez-Malaga valley below, access is via a short track, to the private off-road parking area for two cars.  From here, gates lead 0nto the fenced plot and a further, gravel parking area.  A walk around the side leads to the main terrace and beyond, the delightful pool terrace with a very unusually shaped pool, which is around 8 x 3.5m, with walk-in steps.  The view is just stunning!  And one could never tire of it!  The lake, to the West, glistens, and casts magical light, across the view, especially at sunset (very spectacular) and to the South, the glistening expanse of the Mediterranean Sea, which is well within half an hour’s drive of this delightful villa.

The front door is set within a covered, arched porch area of 3 x 2m, underneath which is a large, convenient water storage tank for extra water, fed from the mains.  This is also a delightful area to sit in, especially in the morning, as from here one can contemplate the sunrise, or watch at dusk, as the the little lights begin to twinkle in the village, nestling on the slopes below the impressive Maroma mountain (the highest in Malaga province).

The front door leads straight into the living and dining room.  This is a very simple, and yet comfortable house.  The living room is 4 x 4m in size, with traditional floor tiles, and a free standing wood burner in one corner, and beamed ceiling.  To the right, are two doors.  The first, to the front is to the pretty, quality kitchen, 3.5 x 2m, with window to the front.  The second, to the back, leads into the family bathroom (a good size, at 2.25 x 2m).  To the left, another two doors lead into each of the bedrooms.  To the front, is bedroom 1, the guest bedroom, size 3 x 3m with window to the front.  To the rear is the master bedroom size 3 x 3m, with its own door to the garden, plus a large, deep, walk-in wardrobe (2 x 1m) plus an ensuite shower room of 2 x 2m.

The house has beams throughout and pretty, high, sloping ceilings.

To the rear of the house, on the pool side, is a delightful arched covered terrace area of 6 x 3m, ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing, and even for an afternoon snooze!  And to the rear are two very useful storage rooms, one of which is 1.5 x 1m, and the other, underneath the wide steps to the roof terrace, is 3 x 1.25m, making it possible to store away Summer or Winter items, or even lock away personal possessions should the villa be used as a holiday let.

The wide steps here, lead up to a roof terrace, designed for further contemplation of the outstanding, panoramic views.  Many villages are visible and an afternoon with a good pair of binoculars is quite fascinating!  This terrace is around 4 x 3.75m.

To the side of the pool terrace are a series of neat earth banks, which could easily be planted up with fruit trees, flowering beds, or even a few vegetables!
