A track running due North from the beach, winds its way along the side of the river valley, and Casa Sofia has its own entrance gate, driveway and sizeable, flat parking area.  There is an arched covered terrace area for outside living and dining of 8x3m, with additional pergola covered area of 8×3, overlooking flowering gardens and the 8 x 4m pool at a depth of 2m throughout, with walk-in steps, is located to one side, along with a poolside sun-bathing terrace. The views beyond area magnificent, of the country hills and the distance glimmer of the sea.

The villa is in good condition and can be enjoyed immediately without requiring work.  However, there is scope for further improvement if required.

From the arched covered terrace, the front door leads into the double-aspect lounge, which has purpose built storage units incorporating book shelves and cupboards that house the electrical equipment, books, DVD player, CD’s etc. and keeps them out of sight. There is a work area for a computer/laptop, printer and telephone.  This room also has an air-conditioner unit (cooling & heating), a wood burning stove and the property also has a portable gas fire and an electric eco panel radiator in the lounge. The water supply is by a private bore hole, with a 25,000L water deposit for water storage.  Water is automatically pumped from the well to the water deposit and from there the water is electrically softened and then filtered at the kitchen sink.

Additional outbuildings:  A covered wood store. Additional room for storage. Above the water deposit there is a store room. A pump house for the pool chemicals is located underground. A further store houses gardening equipment and tools (this is attached to the en-suite bathroom but can only be accessed from the outside).

The house has double glazing throughout with integral mosquito netting, the same tiled flooring throughout and there is a burglar alarm.
