Two country houses in an oasis of peace in a hidden tropical valley just 15 minutes walk from Almachar village.

The main house has a large covered, gated terrace of 7 x 4m plus 4 x 4m pergola covered area, and from here one can relax and contemplate the beautiful views over the valley and listen to the enchanting song of the many birds, and, very special, the nightingales in the Springtime!

Another, open patio is beyond this area, of 5 x 4m, where we find the front door.

A door from the covered terrace leads into the living room, which is open plan with a lovely, fully fitted kitchen.  The kitchen area is 3.5 x 3m and the living room area is 6 x 3m with a corner woodburner and alcoves in the walls.  At the far end, and left, is a door to the hallway, and this has the front door onto the open patio area.  From the hall is also access to bedroom 1 (5 x 3.5m), a bathroom with bath (3.5 x 2m) and a separate WC and laundry room (3 x 1.5m).  Stairs from the hallway lead down to a lower level.  At the bottom of the stairs, to the right is bedroom 2 (5 x 3.75m) and to the left is bedroom 3 (4 x 3.5m) plus access to the downstairs bathroom with corner luxury jet shower (2.5 x 2m).  There is a storage alcove here too.

Between the main house and the 1 bedroom cottage is a delightful central covered patio, with a pond in front of it and beautiful gates.   This central courtyard area is 10 x 7m approx. and has many beautiful details such as a sunken jacuzzi, and beautiful wooden carved doors protecting alcoves in the thick walls used as cupboards for glasses, bottles, etc.   There is also another small patio to the rear of the cottage, accessed from the courtyard via an archway from here is access to the massage room which is fully kitted out for massage therapy (this room is 4.5 x 2m).  Another archway leads to a covered outside kitchen area of 10 x 2.5m.  This continues around to the far side of the 1 bedroom cottage where there is a storage area and even a storage container, which is currently used as storage but could potentially be converted into a separate unit or guest room with its own covered terrace area.

The 1 bedroom cottage is currently a ‘casa de apero’ (labourer’s store).  To one side is a door to the laundry room (2.5 x 1.5m) and steps that lead up to the roof (around 10 x 7m).  The roof has an independent unit on top of it, currenty used as an art studio (6 x 2m).

Inside the cottage there is a large kitchen diner (5.5 x 3m), a living room with corner pellet stove (3.75 x 3.5m) – the living room is currently used as an office and library –  the bedroom with built-in wardrobe (3.5 x 3.75m) and an ensuite bathroom with double shower unit (3.5 x 2m).  The bedroom and living room have doors to the front covered terrace.
