A very attractive 139m2 country property set in lovely countryside and with excellent access, just 10 minutes’ drive from Riogordo village and within one hour of Malaga airport

A asphalt country lane winding its way through beautiful and almost romantic countryside, leads past this lovely country house near Riogordo village.  A short drive with ample parking leads up past the log cabin to the main house.  And to either side are pretty gardens with many trees and flowering shrubs, little walkways and even a pond! The current owners grow vegetables, keep happy, free range chickens, with their own enclosed pens and chicken house, and there is also a dog kennel for your friendly four legged companion.

Outside the main house is an outdoor patio and seating area, and access to the semi-walled pool terrace and garden.  This is a very private area, with a shaped 7 x 3.5m pool and pretty stone surround.  There is a large built-in barbeque in this area too.

The front door leads into a warm and sunny conservatory of 6.5 x 2.5m, plus 2 x 2m, making this an ideal Winter sitting room.  In the Summer the doors and windows open up to make this a perfect place to enjoy in the Summer too.

Three steps lead up to the original front door, within the conservatory and this leads into the living room, 6 x 4m, with a brick-decorated open fireplace.  This is a very light and bright room and is open plan to the dining room, which forms an L shape with the living room.  The dining room (3 x 2.75m) is also open plan to the fully fitted kitchen (3 x 2.75m).

A door to the right of the living room leads to a small distribution area.  To the left is the family bathroom, 5 x 1.5m including a large walk-in shower.  Straight ahead is bedroom 1 which is 3 x 3.75m including a built-in wardrobe, and lovely views over the pool garden.  To the right is bedroom 2, of a similar size.

Returning to the lounge, a door to the left leads to bedroom 3, which is around 6 x 3.75m, including fitted wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with bath.  Beyond the bedroom is an archway leading to a walk-in closet (3.75 x 1m) and from within this area is a door at one end leading out into the garden.

Also from the lounge, another door leads to bedroom 4, 3.5 x 2.5m, including wardrobe and this room has a brick-built fixed double bed base.

From the family bathroom, there is a door beyond which leads to an extra room, (4 x 3.25m) which is often used as a ‘Summer’ bedroom (can be called bedroom 5).  This room has a door out to the pool garden.

Strolling over to the log cabin, this second building is located around 20 metres from the main house, making both buildings conveniently private and peaceful.  The cabin has its own enclosed garden area, to the rear side with a large gravelled area with built-in barbeque, and the front with a very attractive splash pool of 3 x 3m, and a veranda above it of 5 x 2m.

Inside the cabin there is a spacious living room, 5 x 4m, a door to bedroom 1 (3 x 3m), a gallery kitchen (3.25 x 2m) with door to the veranda, and bathroom of 2.5 x 1.5m with wet-room style overhead shower.

A relatively steep wooden staircase leads  up to the upper area where there are two bedrooms, one to the left, the other to the right, with sloping ceilings and separated on each side of the staircase by curtains.  Each bedroom is a generous 5 x 3.25m, although it has low ceilings at either end.

The log cabin has been used successfully for holiday rentals.  There is also a fenced area close to this that could be used if required as a dog enclosure.

This lovely country property is ideal for anyone wishing to escape to the rural Andalusian countryside and maybe earn a little bit of extra income via rentals.
