4/5 bedrooms – 4 bathrooms – roof terrace – small B&B potential

A stunning, beautifully renovated village house with potential for a small b&b in one of the most picturesque Andalusian white villages in the Axarquía area

Located in a quiet street just off the pretty church square, this house is a good option for anyone looking for a comfortable  house in a typical Andalusian whitewashed village, where one can become a true and active part of the local community.  As it has 4/5 bedrooms, there are also possibilities to explore to offer the house for Bed and Breakfast.

The front door leads into a reception/dining room , which is rustic in character, and beautifully renovated, with beams and typical features.  A wide brick-decorated opening leads straight through to the fully fitted kitchen which is more than large enough to have a kitchen table for family dining.  The kitchen and dining/reception room is 8 x 4m.

To the right of the front door and the reception room, four steps lead to Bedroom 1 (5 x 2.5m) currently furnished with one three-quarters sized bed plus a single bed and window with views out to the street and the mountains beyond.  Beyond, a door leads to a spacious and beautiful bathroom (5 x 1.75m) with large shower.  The bathroom has a sloping roof with beams.

To the left of the reception room/front door, steps lead up to the first floor landing.  The landing has access to Bedroom 2, a double bedroom, and a separate bathroom with large shower unit.

The steps from the landing continue up to a very pretty roof terrace (around 20m2).  The terrace has lovely views over the village and the mountains all around.

Returning to the kitchen, a door to the right of the kitchen leads down 6 steps to the first of two courtyard patios.  This courtyard, finished with local stone, is 5 x 3m.  From here is access to a large store room at one end, and to a log store.  Also, to the left, is access to Bedroom 3 (4.75 x 3m) with ensuite shower room (3 x 1.5m).

At the far end of the kitchen is another door leading to a small distribution area.  From here, a door to the left leads to patio number 2, which is smaller (3 x 2m) and which leads to a large store room (3 x 2m) which could also act as an extra bedroom, which would be Bedroom number 4.

Also from the distribution area off the kitchen, 7 steps lead up to the main living room.  This is a delightful room, with corner woodburning fireplace, beams and some very pretty features.  This room (6 x 3m) also has two wall-mounted electric radiators.

To the left of the living room, 4 steps lead to an area from which is access to a linen cupboard, the remaining bedroom (Bedroom number 4/5) which is 4 x 3m, and also to the remaining bathroom (2.25 x 1.5m) which also has a large shower unit.

ADJOINING BUILDING/POSSIBLE EXTENSION: for anyone interested in extending the house, next door is a building which is unfinished, which could be purchased, and access could be made via the log store in the courtyard, adding a large additional space to the house, with its own front door, and enabling the roof terrace to be extended, or a separate roof terrace created, and allowing excellent sea views from the whole property at roof terrace level.  For more details on this please contact us.
